Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

This policy covers health-related information specifically. It sits alongside our general Privacy Policy, which covers everything else. Washington's My Health My Data Act asks for this as its own document, and it is a fair thing to ask for, so here it is in plain language.

The whole thing in one paragraph

The health-related information you enter stays in your browser on your own device. It is never sent to our servers. We do not have it, we cannot see it, we do not sell or share it, and no analytics provider or advertiser receives it. You can erase it yourself at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

1. What counts as consumer health data here

The Act defines "consumer health data" broadly. On this site, the information that could reasonably fall under it is what you enter into the routine builder:

2. How it is collected, and where it goes

You enter it into the builder. It is stored in your browser's local storage, which is a private area of your own device that we cannot read remotely. It is used to generate your routine and to remember it when you come back on the same device.

It is not transmitted to us. There are no accounts and no server-side profile. We could not produce a copy of your data if you asked, because we do not hold one.

The one exception is the AI assistant: if you type a message to it, that message is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic, PBC) to generate a reply, and is not stored by us afterwards. Do not type anything into it you would not want to send to a third party. The assistant is also scoped to decline medical questions and refer you to a licensed professional.

3. Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not share, disclose, or make consumer health data available to any third party, affiliate, or processor, because it never leaves your device for us to share.

Our traffic measurement provider, Vercel Inc., counts page views. It does not receive your goal, ability, eating preferences, routine, or anything else you enter. See section 6 of the Privacy Policy for what that measurement does and does not do.

4. We do not sell it

We do not sell consumer health data, and we have never sold it. We do not share it for targeted advertising. There is no advertising on this site. Because we do not sell it, there is no separate authorization for you to sign or decline.

5. How long it is kept

For as long as you keep it, and no longer. It lives in your browser until you clear your browsing data for this site, use your browser's private mode, or clear it from within the app. We keep no copy, so there is nothing on our side with a retention period.

6. Your rights

Under the Act you have the right to:

To make a request or ask a question, email support@traineatrepeat.com. We will respond as required by law. Please note that because we hold no health data, most requests we can honestly answer with "we do not have any."

7. If this changes

We plan to add an optional product store in future. If that ever means health-related information leaving your device, for example connecting a stated goal to an order, we will say so here and ask for your consent before it happens, not after, and we will name every company that receives it. We will also update the date at the top and describe what changed, the same way we did on the Privacy Policy when we added traffic measurement.

This policy describes how the site works today. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace the general Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use.
