Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
The short version
Train Eat Repeat is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts. We store no personal information about you on any server. Your routine settings live in your own browser. Your chat with the AI assistant is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply, and is not stored by us. There are no tracking cookies, no analytics, and no ads. We never sell your information.
The rest of this policy explains the details.
1. Who we are
Train Eat Repeat ("we", "us", "our") is an independent, free wellness and fitness website. For any privacy question, contact us at support@traineatrepeat.com.
2. Information you enter (stays in your browser)
When you build a routine, you enter things like your goal, available equipment, days per week, and optional eating preferences. This information is saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device. It is not sent to us and we do not store it. It stays until you clear it (for example, by clearing your browser data or using your browser's site-data controls).
When you save a routine as a PDF, that is created in your browser using its print function. The file is yours; we do not receive a copy.
3. The AI assistant
When you send a message to the AI assistant, that message, along with the relevant routine context needed to answer it, is sent to our third-party AI provider, Anthropic (the maker of Claude), which processes it to generate a reply and returns it to you. This is necessary to make the assistant work.
We do not store your conversation. It is held in the page while you are using it and clears when you leave or reload the page. Anthropic processes the message under its own terms and privacy commitments as our provider. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the assistant.
4. Technical information handled by our server
The assistant runs through a small server route that sits between your browser and the AI provider. To keep the assistant available, prevent abuse, and stay within a strict daily cost cap, that route may briefly process basic technical information such as your IP address and standard request details, and may use a rate-limiting service (currently Upstash) to count requests. This information is used only to operate and protect the service, is not tied to an account (there are no accounts), and is not used to build a profile of you, for advertising, or for any marketing purpose. The site is hosted on a third-party hosting provider (currently Vercel), whose systems may keep short-lived, standard server logs.
5. What we do not do
- We do not create accounts or user profiles.
- We do not store your routine, health, fitness, or eating information on our servers.
- We do not store your chat history.
- We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics pixels, or cross-site trackers.
- We do not show ads.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for advertising or for anyone else's marketing.
6. Cookies and tracking
Train Eat Repeat uses your browser's local storage only to remember your routine on your device. This is essential to the feature you chose and is not a tracking cookie. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. Because we do not track you across sites, there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to opt out of, but we honor the spirit of those signals by not tracking in the first place.
7. Service providers
We rely on a few third parties strictly to run the site: a hosting provider (currently Vercel), an AI provider for the assistant (Anthropic), and a rate-limiting service (currently Upstash). They act as our providers for those functions only. We may change providers over time; when we do, we will update this policy. Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.
8. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party pages, such as recipes or product information. Those sites are not controlled by us and have their own privacy practices. This policy does not cover them, so review their policies when you visit.
9. Data retention
Because we do not store your personal information on our servers, there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. Your routine data stays in your browser until you clear it, and you control that at any time through your browser. Any technical logs described in Section 4 are short-lived and kept only as long as needed to operate and protect the service.
10. Security
We keep our data footprint small on purpose: with no accounts and no stored personal information, there is very little about you for anyone to access through us. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but the design itself limits the risk.
11. Children
Train Eat Repeat is intended for adults age 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided information through the site, contact us and we will address it.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to opt out of its sale or of certain sharing. Because Train Eat Repeat keeps no personal information about you on any server and creates no accounts, most of these rights are already in your hands: the information you enter lives only in your browser and you can view or erase it yourself at any time by clearing your browser's data for this site. We do not sell or share your information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you have a request or a question about your data, contact us at support@traineatrepeat.com and we will respond as required by law.
Washington residents (My Health My Data Act). Washington's My Health My Data Act gives residents rights over "consumer health data." Train Eat Repeat is designed so that the health-related information you enter (such as your fitness goal or eating preferences) stays in your own browser and is not collected, stored, sold, or shared by us. We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. If you have questions about how the Act applies to your use of the site, contact us at support@traineatrepeat.com.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
